Four horsemen was formed by Karl Arne
Fjeld, Trond Rudseter and Roy Bjørklund. The three childhood friends decided
early in the 90s that they were going to start a MC-club in their hometown. They
named it Renegades MC Brandval. Brandval is a small rural district about 20 km
north of Kongsvinger. After one of the first trips, the club was “silently”
closed down, because an already established club in Bergen had taken the name
before them.
It is now the journey of Four horsemen
MC started on the Norwegian country roads and into the established MC-society.
The clubs birthday is September 1992. It did not take long before a new member
entered the club, this was our dearest Sigurd better known as Bjørn Aarstad. It
was now four members in the club and it was time to find a clubhouse. At first
they rented a small house in the country side and everyone was very satisfied.
We had great parties which has created good and funny memories. At this time we
also got some time for travelling and many good friendships were established.
These friendships has lasted and probably will for a lifetime. Thanks to all of
you! Fenris Mc Torsby and Jerngrisen Mc Munkfors, our happy Swedish neighbours.
We had a lot of good times with them. In our country the trips mostly ended at
the Customizsers MC and Screwdrivers MC (now HA Oslo and HA Hamar). The time we spent with them is highly
appreciated among our oldest members.
Roy Bjørklund left the club after a
while, and Per Arne Jørgensen was accepted as a prospect. The club started to
get a good reputation, and then they eventually could afford to buy a clubhouse
in the neighbourhood. The Four horsemen was at the end of 95/96 owners of their
own clubhouse.
At the same time that Trond Rudseter
left the club, Bygda Mc Elverum shut down, and Inge Bakken was recruited to join
our club.
At this point, the writer started to
notice the club, and on my 30th birthday, 08.12.97, I got accepted as
a “hang”. At that time the club had four members and two “hang”. The club
developed quite fast into a fulltime club, so we must have done something rightJ
The growth in the club is mainly because of our friends who have been
established in the club several years. They have taught us a lot!
Since we are talking about the subject
growth, we mean that it is not the number of member that decides the size of the
club, it is basically what each member show of love, responsibility and
cooperation in the brothership.
It has always been a lot of rumours and
myths about this environment, especially when it comes to being a member in a
club. Rumours say that people have to go through a lot of ridicules things to be
accepted as a member. We don’t know whether to laugh or cry about the rumours.
You become a Four horsemen if you have the qualities that is needed to be a
member. You treat other people the way you want them to treat you, that is the
basic rule. Another important thing is; if you have a question; don’t
ask..he..he..
Four Horsemen is ruled by
democracy. One vote per member and nothing else. We have a dream and a wish
about that one day in the future the biker world will become a “world” where we
all treat each other with respect and fight for the kind of life we have chosen,
or the lifestyle that chose us. That’s a good thing to believe in and hope for.
In the last year’s we have redecorated a
lot in our club house. With small monthly incomes it takes a lot of time. Today
the club has a restored workshop, poolroom, office and a big bar with a scene.
In the private part we have a TV room with a bar, kitchen and a shower. The
outside of the clubhouse is also starting to get in shape.

At the end I want to write a few words
about Karl Arne Fjeld, better known as Benny. It was he that started Four
horsemen MC and he was the lead character in the first period. Benny is not
longer with us and his good sense of humour and his funny comments will always
be remembered. Out thoughts are with Marit and Sara. Thank you for the time we had togther, and nevertheless thank you
for starting Four horsemen MC. Brothers will always be brothers, no matter what!
